I started collecting in 1989......by 1994 I relized I couldn't collect every Rookie from all 4 sports So I started collecting only Brett Favre. My goal Every issued card made along with Hundreds of expensive Inserts and a few other items. 

In early 2000 (the last time I added up book values) It was in the $15,000 value. Take a look at the clickable links on the left.

Thats seriously almost every issued card from rookie year to 2000. Cards from $3 to over $100 each. So many $10 $20 $50 inserts and many expensive $5 to $25 commons.

What most people can't understand is the thousands of hours I have spent seaching ebay, card shows & private collectors to pur this collection together over the past 10 years. Not to mention the value this will add up to come Favres retirement and induction to the Hall of Fame. I do believe this is one of the worlds largest collection. Sure, you could buy 1 $1,000 card and watch it go up in value maybe another $100 over the next 10yrs or have over 800 items to watch a great growth of book values.
